Can a foggy window be fixed without replacing the whole window?
Yes, in most cases. The failed sealed unit is replaced inside your existing frame. The frame, trim and hardware all stay.
Will a foggy window ever clear up on its own?
No. The seal has failed and moisture is inside the unit. It may look better on some days, but the insulating value is gone for good.
There is water on the inside of my windows in winter. Are they bad?
Usually not. Condensation on the room side is warm humid indoor air meeting cold glass, which is a humidity issue rather than a window failure. Moisture trapped between the panes is the one that means a failed unit.
Can you repair just the screen?
Yes, and it is one of our most common jobs. We rescreen your existing frames or build new frames to size.
How much does window repair cost?
